Peter Godfrey has always had a passion for racing however always knew his skills set would best be suited to supporting racing drivers as apposed to racing himself
Peters History includes Time served Apprenticeship with Perry’s as a mechanic and then as Auto Electrician. Moving later to be a Patrol Man with the AA
Following this he became a Technical Trainer for Motor Manufactures becoming a Master Tech in Petrol Engine Management , Steering suspension and Brakes ,Advanced electrics , Advanced Diagnostics. Writing and delivering Training courses both in the UK and around the world.
In 2010 he started to go to race meetings to assist Myles Packman and loved it.
GRs was formed in 2011
GRs supported Myles for the 2011 season and together they brought home the Mega Class Title
Continuing on we worked together in 2012 again with the same result Mega Champion
In 2013 Myles retired from full time racing , however whenever he has a guest appearance he is always with GRS and has won every time
In 2013 Amanda Black and Ian Anderson approached GRs for support .
GRs assisted Amanda to The Sigma Championship in 2013
And Ian Anderson to second in the Sigmax Championship
2014 GRs assisted Adrian Russell to take the Mega Title
2015 GRs supported Nigel Board to his Sigma Championship
Also in 2015 Dylan Stanley to second In Sigmax and Steve McMaster to Second in Classics
2016 Dylan took the Sigmax title and Steve McMaster the Classics Championship with GRS
2017 GRs supported Jon Harmer took the Sigma Title , Jamie Ellwood second in Sigmax class and Peter Tattersall 3rd in Classics
2018 Jamie Ellwood Sigmax Champion and Matthew Willoughby Classic Champion
In 2016 GRs expanded into a parts suppler both at the race track and online
Also in 2016 GRs opened its doors with a new workshop service in Biggleswade for Caterham servicing and repairs
2018 GRs Storage and transport was formed to compliment the services already provided by GRS
